  •  We can find clarity and confidence in God’s house. 

2 Corinthians 4:7, But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.  

  •  Good News: Every believer has the Holy Spirit living within.

The Holy Spirit is a Person 

John 16:13, But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 

  •  The Holy Spirit was present at creation.  

Genesis 1:2, Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  

Romans 8:27 

  •  The Holy Spirit has a mind, will, and emotions. 

1 Corinthians 12:1; 1 Thessalonians 1:6 

Ephesians 4:30 (NKJV), And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

  •  Witness 

John 14:16-17 (NKJV), 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever – 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him or knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.  

  • Teacher 

John 14:26 (NKJV), But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things I said to you.  

  •  Guide

  •  Comforter  

2 Corinthians 1:4, Who comforts us in all of our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  

  • Intercessor  

Romans 8:26, In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

The Holy Spirit needs Prioritized 

  •  Establish fellowship with Him daily.  

Psalm 46:10, Be still and know that I am God . . .  

2 Corinthians 13:14 

  •  Lean into a lack of peace.  

Colossians 3:15, Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as member of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 

  •  Be quick to repent. 

Galatians 5:25, Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit

  •  Fast for Holy Spirit clarity and breakthrough.
